Here you will find video links to our short series looking at the book of Romans.
Recorded 25th July 2021
Today we came to the end of our short series through Romans and it was also the last Church Inside for the foreseeable future.
Wally Bamford spoke on various prayers that Paul prayed recorded in his letters starting with Romans 15:12
Jonathan led our time concentrating on the theme of prayer and pulled out all the stops when it came to video clips. Sharing videos from people talking about prayer to praying for various things.
Recorded 18th July 2021
Today we had Geoff Bennett speaking on Romans 12. As a Church, we were challenged and encouraged to surrender our lives to God and be the people He wants us to be - which is our part as followers of Jesus.
Recorded 11th July 2021
This week Geoff Hoggard was speaking on Romans 8. Geoff concentrated on the parts of the chapter that are easier to understand and left us some very challenging questions.
Recorded 4th July 2021
This week Iain spoke to us from Romans 6. Encouraging us to be the people God wants us to be, not to be slaves to sin (our default position) but to be slaves to God (only possible through Jesus) and offering our lives to God.
At the end of the service, we played this beautiful and challenging song by Resound Worship calling us to follow Jesus, which fitted in well with the message and the whole service. Jesus You Have Called Us (I Will Follow) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cw11su7oFdQ
Romans 5 - Four things that will keep you out of heaven
Recorded 27th June 2021
This week we welcomed Brian Dunning from York to speak on Romans 5.
Brian called his sermon "Four things that will keep you out of heaven".
SINFUL ACTIONS | SINFUL NATURE | SINFUL ANCESTORS | TRYING OUR BEST
Then he set the scene for chapter 5 by going briefly through the previous chapters.
It's only all through Jesus.
Recorded 20th June 2021
This week we welcomed Tony Brown from Bradford to speak to us and he tackled the whole of chapter 4 of Romans.
Tony made a difficult passage easy to understand. Starting with an intro and then explaining what Paul was trying to explain to the Church in Rome that we are justified by faith in Christ, there is nothing we can do to be right with God - He has done it all.
Recorded 13th June 2021
Today we started a new series looking at a letter the apostle Paul wrote to the Church in Rome. Iain kicked off the series using the title from Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”. That is the bad news, the good news is in the next verse “and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.” Unfortunately once again our camera stopped recording however the audio was still captured and Iain had a PowerPoint which at least you can follow.
